New! Alternate System Profile Templates
System Profile Templates have been expanded with new alternate options which allow for more flexibility in pre-defining permissions. You can now specify up to 5 alternate profile options for each system within the template. These alternate options can be used for variations of the standard profile.
Once alternate system options are defined you can now create up to 255 different combinations of standard and alternate profile options. When creating or modifying a user system code, these alternate combinations can be chosen from the list of template options. Previously this would have required multiple templates to accomplish the same permission definition across multiple systems and simplifies the management of the templates.

New! ESSENTIAL Service Fee Structure -- Simple One-Time Base Fee
Connect ONE is offered in three service levels: ESSENTIAL, ESSENTIAL+, and PRO (refer to chart below). The ESSENTIAL service level is now billed at a nominal one-time base fee with no recurring fees unless additional services are subscribed such as door access reporting or non-alarm zone status logging, for example.
The ESSENTIAL service is a great option for your small commercial, with only a few employees, and residential clients. They will receive all the benefits of a powerful, convenient, and easy-to-use cloud service without associated recurring fees, unless additional services are subscribed.
The pricing structure is designed to give integrators additional project possibilities and the flexibility to introduce smaller customers to the cloud system without recurring monthly charges. With ESSENTIAL service, users have access to a robust cloud-managed platform that serves their needs today and grows as future requirements change - without having to reprogram systems and retrain technicians or end users. For example, if they require additional reporting requirements or unlimited users, they can step up into one of the next service levels, where a monthly recurring charge would apply.
“This new fee structure will help get more customers comfortable with Connect ONE, with the ability to expand the basic service into additional capabilities,” said Dan Simon, Managing Partner of Connected Technologies. “Security integrators can compete with some of the free apps on the market and can change the application as necessary. Other apps are bare-boned and don’t allow for expansion, often putting integrators in the position of starting over with a new interface.”
Maximize your upsell potential, ONE Application to start and easily upgrade with more features as your customers' needs expand!
Pricing has been updated in the Connect ONE Price Guide, available in the Dealer Portal.

Did You Know? Import DMP Card/Fob List
A simple yet convenient method for your customers to manage DMP cards/fobs.
Connect ONE includes a method for spreadsheet import (Utilities->Credentials) of purchased credentials from your supplier, including DMP, which adds the list to the Credential Queue in the Application. It does not program the cards/fobs into the system but rather allows for a simple and covnenient method to select the card/fob from the queue during the user code programming process. This eliminates the need for your customer to cross-reference a paper sheet list and saves time by not needing to key-in the card/fob number.

Cansec MAP Access Controller Integration
A new integration with Cansec MAP access controllers is now available.
A direct cloud integration with the MAP controllers allow for easy outbound-only communication and does not require any additional hardware onsite. “We are pleased that Connected Technologies has integrated the MAP Controllers with Connect One,” said Fred Dawber, President of Cansec Systems. “This will allow a broader base of dealers to experience the power and flexibility of the Cansec MAP controllers. The integration offers a cost-effective way to manage access control, intrusion and video all from a single platform, making the end-user experience more unified.”
The direct cloud integration includes:
- Networked Door Controllers in 1,2,4,or 8 door configurations
