New ESSENTIAL Service Fee Structure -- Simple One-Time Base Fee

Connect ONE is offered in three service levels: ESSENTIAL, ESSENTIAL+, and PRO (refer to chart below). The ESSENTIAL service level is now billed at a nominal one-time base fee with no recurring fees unless additional services are subscribed such as door access reporting or non-alarm zone status logging, for example.

The ESSENTIAL service is a great option for your small commercial, with only a few employees, and residential clients. They will receive all the benefits of a powerful, convenient, and easy-to-use cloud service without associated recurring fees, unless additional services are subscribed.

Did You Know? Task Integration for Guests, Visitors, or Anyone - No App Required!

A task integration web page link may be sent via email or SMS without requiring a user login.

Task Rules are powerful actions which can combine just about any system command into a single button click. Now you can also provide these customized actions to any user via the Integration option found under the contact information, such as email or SMS address, and they will receive a PIN and URL link which will allow easy operation of these Tasks without requiring a login. This is a great option for guests and visitors since they do not need a login, an App, nor a credential and the task integration may be revoked at anytime.

Tip: The user may save the link to their phone homescreen for convenient access by tapping the Connect ONE icon.

 

Cansec MAP Access Controller Integration

A new integration with Cansec MAP access controllers is now available.

A direct cloud integration with the MAP controllers allow for easy outbound-only communication and does not require any additional hardware onsite. Optionally the integration can be added to the Connect ONE Access Expander which allows integration with Elk, DMP, Bosch, and Honeywell intrusion panels as well as ScanPass Mobile Credentials and Aperio wireless access locks.

  • Plus all of the other Connect ONE Features such as GeoView Satellite Mapping, Event & Time Rules, Emergency Response Platform (see below), Mass Notification Integration, Visitor Management, etc.

 

Recent Usability Improvements

Customer Management Portal

  • Hikvision NVR PTZ Control: Now PTZ cameras connected to a Hikvision NVR can be controlled via Connect ONE when viewing live video. Controls include pan, tilt, zoom, and preset control.
  • Speco Blue NVR Integration: A new integration is available for Speco Blue Series NVRs to retrieve the camera listing, video verification to events, and live viewing. Live viewing requires the Image Proxy Service enabled.

Dealer Administrative Portal & System Updates

  • Share Option for Reports & Interaction Rules: The share option can be updated via the Dealer Portal for customer reports and interaction rules. This allows you to override the current option and set it to Dealer Only if there are certain reports and rules that you would not like the customer to be able to modify.
  • TIP: Check the Configuration page for the Device as it includes recommended programming for the particular product and firmware version.
